Monday Montage Week #176

Hello! And welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you with us today! Does anyone else wonder where October went? Just yesterday I was talking to my husband about all of the October things I still want to do and I realized we are running out of October! We did take our daughter and niece to a haunted house Saturday night. I haven't done that since before I was married, so over 23 years ago! I screamed and screamed every time something moved-even a couple of times when it was just my husband! Now I remember why I haven't done that in over 23 years-it's really not my cup of tea, but, the things we do for our kids...am I right??!!

So, since October is winding down, I thought I would share another fun Halloween card!

This was a really fun card to make! I wanted to make it look like wreath hanging on a door, and the Arrange a Wreath Bundle was perfect! That bundle is so great for many different occasions-I just love it! It doesn't have any pumpkins in it, but the Banner Year Stamp Set has the perfect sized pumpkins and the cutest little jack-o-latern face!

Here is a close-up!

Monday Montage Week #175

Hello and Happy October Everyone! I love this time of year and I especially love making Halloween crafts and projects, but, only cute or pretty Halloween projects. So, I was so excited when I saw the Magic In This Night Suite Collection! It is elegant and hauntingly beautiful!! Today I am sharing a trio of projects made with this amazing suite!

I had so much fun creating these projects! I started with the card, and then just kept on going! It was simple to create all three projects quickly because they all have the same center piece. Here is a close-up of the card:

I used the Rich Razzelberry Stampin' Blends to color in those beautiful flowers, and then I sponged the spider webs lightly with Smoky Slate Ink. But one of my favorite parts of the card is the back ground! I used the Cobweb 3D Embossing Folder first, and then flicked Wink of Stella all over it to make it sparkle! And don't forget the Iridescent Pearls! I love it!

Next, here is a close up of the treat bag:

Aren't those glittery bats so fun?
And last, but not least, here is a close up of the little box:

I used the Perfect Parcels Dies to cut out this little cutie.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you  so keep on hopping! Monday Montage Week #174

Hello! Thank you for hopping with us today! I am a little behind on posting about an important event in our family! My daughter graduated from high school this year! And this was a very unique year! Graduation was very different, but my hat is off to the people in charge of planning and carrying out the many graduations ceremonies that took place. My daughter's high school graduation committee out did themselves! They were creative and made graduation memorable.

I wanted to make a card for my daughter that symbolizes all of the hope for a bright future despite the pandemic, the virus and all of the craziness in the world right now. The Beautiful World Bundle was perfect for this!

This amazing bundle makes wonderful masculine cards, but it can also be soft and feminine. Here is a close-up! First, I water colored the globe using Water Color Paper and a Water Painter. Next I embossed some Thick Whisper White Cardstock with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. Then I added ink to my embossed background with the a Water Painter to give the card a soft pastel look. I finished off the card by coloring the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with Stampin' Blends in the same colors! The Blends add perfect color to the ribbon! You can color it to match any project!!

Paper Pumpkin-palooza

 image.png

Hello!
I hope you are all doing well and that life is somewhat normal for you! I think right now the saying is the "new normal" but I am not sure exactly what that is yet! But one thing I am sure of... I am so super excited for this month's Paper Pumpkin! I mean, come on! It's all about Halloween and Fall! I love making cards and decorations for this fun season. And the coolest part about this kit is how versatile it will be! Here are the details from Stampin' Up!:

As the autumn season approaches, prepare to celebrate with the September Paper Pumpkin Kit! There’s so much to love about fall—some love the haunts of Halloween, many love the time to give thanks, and others love the changing colors and cooler temperatures. Whatever you love most about fall, September’s kit has everything you need to celebrate the season your way! Between a multi-occasion stamp set and enough supplies to design 20 cracker box treat packages, you can create custom fall crafts to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkins, and leaves. Whether you make them all the same or mix ‘n’ match your crafts, there’s something for everyone in this kit!
  • This kit contains enough supplies to create 20 cracker box treat packages.
  • Each cracker box treat package can be customized to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, the autumn season, or all three!
  • Coordinating Colors: Bumblebee, Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, white
There are so many ways you can use this kit!! So, versatile, right? And while I do love treat packaging this time of year, I am thinking the sky is the limit on this kit! Maybe a banner? Definitely some adorable cards!
So, since we still aren't sure where everything stands with the virus, I am planning a virtual Paper Pumpkin-palooza! You are all invited! All you need to do is make sure you sign up for the September Paper Pumpkin Kit by September 10th so you will have a lot of the supplies we will use for this virtual class. To sign up, click this link (Remember to subscribe by Sept. 10, 2020):
 https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=2106438

I will probably add to the kit contents with other product, but I will let you know what I am using before the class. I am not sure what I will make yet, and I can't show you a photo of the projects, because I don't know what is in the kit yet, but I have a feeling that this kit is going to be amazing!

The date for the Virtual Class will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10am. I will send the technical details out before that date so you can join in the class!

I am super excited about this and I think this is a fun way to do a class at this crazy time!

Monday Montage Week #170

Hello! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We're so glad you could hop with us today! Have you seen the Whale of a Time Suite? It is so much fun!! It has everything you need to make amazing projects. We're talking stamps, a punch, ribbon, Designer Series Paper (DSP) and darling sequins that actually include cute little pink sea shells! And let's go back to the paper! It is vibrant, beautiful and perfect for creating scenes! Here is my first "play" with this amazing suite!

And you know what else? You can use the Whale Builder Punch to punch out some of the whales in the DSP!! The larger whale is perfectly sized to fit the punch! That is what I did here and the card came together in a snap! The whale needed a friend, so I just had to include one the of the smaller whales in my scene because it was just too cute! I cut one out of the DSP with Paper Snips, easy peasy!  Here is a close-up!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you  so keep on hopping!
