Monday Montage Week #133

Hello and welcome! We are so happy to have you with us for our Monday Montage Blog Hop! I still haven't shared all of my Valentine cards with you, so please bear with me while a share another one, even though Valentine's Day is over!

I made this card for my oldest daughter. She is moving to Australia in a couple of months to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  The Animal Outing was perfect for her card because of the little kangaroo and koala! I actually cut it out of the Animal Expedition DSP with the Animal Friends Framelits-I love it when the DSP is sized so that the images can be cut out with the framelits!!

And I almost gave up and didn't make her card. I was running out of time and I thought for half a minute that maybe I would just give her the gift without the card...but...it is my tradition to give my kids and husband handmade cards for Valentine's Day, so I did it. And I finished the cards just in the nick of time! I am so glad I did! This is the post that my daughter put on her instagram:

Yay! It made my day!!

Monday Montage Week #132

Welcome to our Monday Montage Blog Hop! We are so excited to have some new people joining our hop!! Please welcome Cheryl Curtis and Charlot Mallett! I know you'll love their fabulous projects!
Now it's officially February, and I am in full Valentine mode! I have decorated my house and made another Valentine card to share with you! Have a look!

I Love this card! I love the elegance the die cut flowers give this card, and it's easy to do with the Forever Lovely stamp set and the coordinating Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies! Using the Stamparatus makes lining everything up a breeze! Here's some close-ups of the detail that you can get with these coordinating products!

And for this card I used a little different layout! The base card and the first layer are flat, and then I did a trifold layer of whisper white on top that opens up. Here's a photo of the inside of my card! Plenty of room to write a love note!
