Paper Pumpkin to the Rescue!

Today was a very big day for us! It was my baby's birthday! 10 years old-the time has flown by! And the last month has flown by! With all of the end of school events and baseball and softball season, May is second only to December in crazy business. So, with that said, last night I remembered that I hadn't made a birthday card yet! But, never fear, Paper Pumpkin came to the rescue! I pulled out the Positively Picturesque Kit and whipped out a card in no time!

I made the card pretty close to the instructions that came in the kit, with only a few little changes. I sponged all of my edges and added a few sequins and a Baker'sTwine bow, and that is it! So easy! And guess what? As of today, there are still refills of this awesome kit still available! If you are interested in the refill click here.
You do have to be a current Paper Pumpkin Subscriber to order past kits, but if you want more information about joining Paper Pumpkin, click here.
I look forward to my Paper Pumpkin kits each month! I love the surprise-it's a gift I give myself! And if you subscribe before June 10, 2018, your first kit will coordinate with a product suite in the New Annual Catalog!!

This has never been done before! Just think of the possibilities for creating even more projects with perfect coordination! I am so excited!! Check back on June 1, 2018 to see the coordinating suite!
Thanks so much for joining me today!

My First Blog Post on My New Blog and It's Monday Montage!

Hello! I am really excited to be starting a new blog!! This is my very first blog post on my new blog!! And you know what's even better? It's our Monday Montage Blog Hop!! I am also excited to share a card with you that I made with one of my favorite stamp sets! I am absolutely in love with Petal Palette and the Petals & More Thinlits Dies. There are so many things you can do with this bundle! Have you seen all the sentiments included in this awesome set?  And the stamp set, dies and embossing folders are carrying over into the Annual Catalog! Yay!
I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen on this card. Here is a close up of the sentiment. I water colored the background just to add some color. I thought that weaving some ribbon through the decorative piece beneath the sentiment would be a fun touch!
Thanks for stopping by!  I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you so keep on hopping!
