Monday Montage Week #163

Welcome to another round of the Monday Montage Blog Hop!! I am so happy to be able to connect with you through our hop!

I originally made this card for my March card class, but I had to cancel the class because of the restrictions due to the pandemic. I miss my Stampin' Up! friends, but I am happy to share this card with you today! And Mother's Day is coming up soon, so I thought this would be the perfect project for today's hop.

This card features some gorgeous poppies! Poppies are some of my most favorite flowers, so when I saw the Peaceful Poppies Suite in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, I purchased the entire suite!! And I am so glad I did! I love everything in it, and of course buying the suite takes a lot of guesswork out of creating amazing projects. Everything coordinates so perfectly, that you can't go wrong!

I am in love with these beautiful flowers!! To make them pop, I sponged  each flower outline die cut in a darker ink color. I used Cajun Craze for the red poppy, and Mango Melody for the yellow one. And how about the intricate cut outs in the Whisper White Cardstock on the card front? So gorgeous, right?! All of these dies, except for the label are from the Poppy Moments Dies. The label die and the sentiment come from the Dressed to Impress Bundle-another fabulous set in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog!

Cheerful Pineapple Pick me Up!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well during this crazy time of social distancing. I haven't had as much time to craft with all of the kids at home, but we have been making some wonderful, unique memories.

I've been missing my stamping time, and I had a gift for a neighbor, so I thought it was the perfect excuse to make a card! The gift bag I had chosen for the gift had a cheerful  pineapple on it, so naturally I thought of the gorgeous pineapple dies from the In the Tropics Dies!

This is what I came up with!

This card is simple, requires just a few supplies and it came together so quickly. Bonus- the sentiment can be changed to suit many occasions! And the best part? It is so bright and cheerful-perfect for a quick pick me up for a friend or neighbor!
