Paper Pumpkin-palooza

 image.png

Hello!
I hope you are all doing well and that life is somewhat normal for you! I think right now the saying is the "new normal" but I am not sure exactly what that is yet! But one thing I am sure of... I am so super excited for this month's Paper Pumpkin! I mean, come on! It's all about Halloween and Fall! I love making cards and decorations for this fun season. And the coolest part about this kit is how versatile it will be! Here are the details from Stampin' Up!:

As the autumn season approaches, prepare to celebrate with the September Paper Pumpkin Kit! There’s so much to love about fall—some love the haunts of Halloween, many love the time to give thanks, and others love the changing colors and cooler temperatures. Whatever you love most about fall, September’s kit has everything you need to celebrate the season your way! Between a multi-occasion stamp set and enough supplies to design 20 cracker box treat packages, you can create custom fall crafts to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkins, and leaves. Whether you make them all the same or mix ‘n’ match your crafts, there’s something for everyone in this kit!
  • This kit contains enough supplies to create 20 cracker box treat packages.
  • Each cracker box treat package can be customized to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, the autumn season, or all three!
  • Coordinating Colors: Bumblebee, Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, white
There are so many ways you can use this kit!! So, versatile, right? And while I do love treat packaging this time of year, I am thinking the sky is the limit on this kit! Maybe a banner? Definitely some adorable cards!
So, since we still aren't sure where everything stands with the virus, I am planning a virtual Paper Pumpkin-palooza! You are all invited! All you need to do is make sure you sign up for the September Paper Pumpkin Kit by September 10th so you will have a lot of the supplies we will use for this virtual class. To sign up, click this link (Remember to subscribe by Sept. 10, 2020):
 https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=2106438

I will probably add to the kit contents with other product, but I will let you know what I am using before the class. I am not sure what I will make yet, and I can't show you a photo of the projects, because I don't know what is in the kit yet, but I have a feeling that this kit is going to be amazing!

The date for the Virtual Class will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10am. I will send the technical details out before that date so you can join in the class!

I am super excited about this and I think this is a fun way to do a class at this crazy time!

Monday Montage Week #170

Hello! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We're so glad you could hop with us today! Have you seen the Whale of a Time Suite? It is so much fun!! It has everything you need to make amazing projects. We're talking stamps, a punch, ribbon, Designer Series Paper (DSP) and darling sequins that actually include cute little pink sea shells! And let's go back to the paper! It is vibrant, beautiful and perfect for creating scenes! Here is my first "play" with this amazing suite!

And you know what else? You can use the Whale Builder Punch to punch out some of the whales in the DSP!! The larger whale is perfectly sized to fit the punch! That is what I did here and the card came together in a snap! The whale needed a friend, so I just had to include one the of the smaller whales in my scene because it was just too cute! I cut one out of the DSP with Paper Snips, easy peasy!  Here is a close-up!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you  so keep on hopping! Monday Montage Week #168

Happy Monday everyone! We are so happy to have you hopping along with us for the Monday Montage Blog Hop! And I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th! The card I have to share with you today features one of my favorite stamp sets and embossing folders of all time! I love old milk pails, metal tubs and anything vintage or shabby chic. So, when I saw the Country Home Stamp Set and the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder, I was in love 💗. I am so glad they both made it into the Annual Catalog again this year!!!

Another new favorite in the Annual Catalog is the Ornate Layers Dies. I used the largest Die in the set for the background of this card to give it a lace tablecloth look. Sponging all of the layers with Crumb Cake Ink gave the card a vintage feel, don't you think?

The Stampin' Blends were perfect for coloring in all of the beautiful foliage! And I don't think I will ever get enough of embossing our gorgeous Foil Sheets with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you  so keep on hopping! Monday Montage Week #167

Hello and thank you for hopping with the Monday Montage Blog Hop! How are all of you? I hope you are all happy and healthy! And I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day celebrating with loved ones! Here is the card that I made for my amazing husband. It features the By the Dock Stamp Set-an awesome set for masculine cards. I love the sentiment! It is perfect for Father's Day, but it can work for so many occasions! The background for this card is from the Pallet Thoughts Stamp Set-that one is a good one too!!

I only had so much brain power yesterday (is anyone else in the same boat?) when I was making Father's Day cards, so I made the same card for my dad, but added the Dad sentiment from the My Wonderful Family April 2020 Paper Pumpkin.

Lately I am loving scene building stamp sets like this one. It is so easy to come up with an amazing card, just by making a scene!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you  so keep on hopping! You can click the next button to see Melissa's amazing work, or click the back button to check out Elizabeth's fabulous project. Either way you hop, I hope you find something that inspires you! Monday Montage Week #166

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop! It is finally June, and we were having some unseasonably hot weather, but the last few days have been nothing but rain! So Crazy! It has been nice to have some cooler weather, and the rain is helping the lawn, garden and the flowers! I am in the mood for flowers, so I decided to get out a couple of products from the Ornate Garden Suite and have some fun!

Everything in this suite is stunning!! The flower stamps are beautiful-and the dies...have you seen the dies?? They are amazing!! You can't help but make gorgeous creations with all of the coordinating goodness!

Here is a close-up!

I colored in the floral image with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut the entire image. Then I stamped the image again and colored in a few of the flowers, fussy cut those and adhered them to the first image with Stampin' Dimensionals to give the card some depth. Wink of Stella is my go to for adding some sparkle and the finishing touch is a simple ribbon treatment. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and the label is from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Monday Montage Week #165

Hello hopping friends! I am so glad you are joining us for our Monday Montage Blog Hop! Today I have an anniversary card to share with you! I made this card for my husband because we have been many places in our 23 years of marriage, but really any sentiment would work on this card-and it is perfect for a man or a woman!!

I love the Tropical Oasis Suite in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog! I have enjoyed using so many products from that suite! And I am thrilled that the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and the In the Tropics Dies are carrying over to the new Annual Catalog! But, if you want any of the coordinating products in the suite, time to order now, because much of the rest of the suite is retiring on June 2, 2020

Here is a close-up!

Don't you just love the Tropical Oasis Trinkets? The little hibiscus flower adds just the right touch! And I trimmed the edges of the Soft Suede Cardstock after embossing it with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder to make it look like a woven mat-just for fun!
