Elegant Anniversary Card!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I am here to day to share an elegant anniversary card made with the Always in My Heart Bundle! If you follow Stamping Through the Catalog (check them out here), today is the day they are sharing samples using the Always in My Heart Stamp Set and the coordinating Floral Heart Dies. This bundle makes the most amazing cards! And with the gorgeous large floral heart die taking center stage, you can make stunning cards quickly and easily!

I knew I wanted to start with cutting the large floral heart die out of the Vellum Cardstock. I mean, is there anything more elegant than vellum? The vellum heart on top of the Pearlescent Specialty Paper was perfect for this card! I added heart border strips on both ends, and it was then that I thought about making the card into a shaker card! I didn't want to waste all of the pretty hearts that were left over after I cut the heart border die! And I am so happy with the shimmering little hearts that fill the center of this card! 

Here is a closer look!

It was so easy to make this into a shaker card! I simply traced the center heart of the cut vellum floral heart on the back of the Pearlescent Specialty Paper (It is actually shimmery on both sides-yay!) and cut out the heart with Paper Snips. Then, I adhered a square of Window Sheet over the heart. I out-lined the heart with Foam Adhesive Strips (they are very flexible and make shaker cards a snap!) and then filled it with all of my tiny cut out hearts and the little dots leftover from the heart border die-I did cut some more so that I would have plenty. I adhered a Very Vanilla Square to the Adhesive Strips to seal in all of my shaker pieces. The sentiment is embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and I finished off the card with the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (DSP).
