Is it hot where you are? We are still having some hot days this summer, but summer is winding down. School starts next week for my kiddos, so we need to make this week count! So, in honor of the last week of summer, here is a mermaid card that I made for my daughter's birthday!
I had the idea in my mind for this card before I even took out the supplies to make it. I wanted the card to look like the sun was shining through the water. It took several attempts (4 to be exact) to get the effect that I wanted, but I am so happy with the way it turned out! Here is a quick tutorial so you can see how I made the background:
