Monday Montage Week #134

Happy Monday Montage to all of you joining us for this week's hop! Today I have a Mother's Day card to share with you. I know, I know. It's pretty early for a Mother's Day card! Especially because today it was snowing outside where I live. But, this card could be used for many different occasions! And it features such a cute stamp set and framelits! And the best part is, you can get the framelits free with a $100 order during Sale-a-bration!

Here is a close up of the water colored flowers:

I really enjoyed the watercoloring on this project! I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Then I used the heat tool to dry the ink. I squeezed the ink pads while they were still closed to create a puddle of ink on the lid of the pad, then used an aqua painter to apply the watered down ink. I used the heat tool to dry the paper in between each layer of water color. This helped to keep the paper from getting too wet in between each application. I love how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm sure you don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you  so keep on hopping!
