Monday Montage Week #252

     

Hi everyone! It is so good to be hopping again! I was sick for several weeks and I'm finally feeling better!! So, are you ready for the simplest card ever?

Here you go!

I needed a wedding card, but I had very little time. So I decided to let the embossing folder take center stage! Then I added a sentiment and some gold layering and done! Quickest, easiest card ever! And you can change out the sentiment for whatever occasion you want!

Monday Montage Week #247

    

Hello all! I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for the Monday Montage Blog Hop! We are excited to share some projects with you today! My project is a baby card for the cutest little girl! Its not your traditional baby card, but I love how it turned out!

I used the new In Colors and the Just My Type Stamp Set for this cute little card (that would be great for so many other occasions as well). For the sentiment, I used one of the longer sentiments in the set and used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color in just the letters I wanted to spell the word Baby. I did one letter at a time and cleaned the stamp between each letter. The Just My Type Stamp Set is Photopolymer (clear) so it is easy to see through the stamp to line up the letters. All of the images are cut out with Paper Snips and most of them are mounted with Stampin' Dimensionals to give the card some depth.

Monday Montage Week #243

  

I can't believe it's time for the Monday Montage Blog Hop! We are back from Florida and adjusting to the school schedule. I say adjusting because we are still working on it! It's hard to go from vacation to school mode in one day! But we had a great time so it was worth it! 

Right before we left for Florida, we celebrated my son's birthday. Here is the card I made for him!

My son loves video games, so the Level Complete Stamp Set was my go to for this card. The background was easy peasy! I just swiped the Lemon Lime Twist Ink pad across my Basic White card front a couple of times to get this look! I used Stampin' Blends to color in the game controller.

Monday Montage Week #242

 

Hello friends! We're so glad you're joining us for the Monday Montage Blog Hop!! I'm blogging today in sunny (and very hot) Florida! We're here on vacation and having a great time-even with temps reaching record highs! 

Before we left, I made two cards with the same mix of products to share with you today!

This card is for a beautiful new baby girl! The Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper (DSP) was my starting point. I love the beautiful floral designs and colors in this paper collection so much, so I pulled it out and went from there! The Sentimental Park Stamp Set and coordinating dies paired nicely with the DSP!

The same layout and products were perfect for this sympathy card! I used the Black Stampin' Write Marker to color the centers of the flowers.

Welcome everyone! I'm so happy you're hopping with us today! I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating the husbands and fathers in your lives!

On that note, I'm sharing two father's day cards! But you don't have to wait until next father's day to make these cards! You can swap out the father's day sentiment for a birthday, retirement or thinking of you sentiment.

Here are close-ups of the first card:

This card is made with the Grassy Grove Dies and the sentiment is from the He's All That Stamp Set. I watercolored the trees with a Water Painter, Old Olive Ink and Early Espresso Ink for some cool texture.

Here is the bonus card (I call it a bonus card because I used retired products on this one)

Even though the Enjoy the Journey Suite is retired, I just had to make another card with it for my husband! He loves all things bikes... dirt bikes and mountain bikes are his favorite.
