World of Good Quick Masculine Cards!

Hello all!
I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday! I know I am! My son just left for Prom!! I can't believe he is old enough to date, let alone go to prom! He looked so handsome in his tux! Now here's hoping I get some pictures of him with his date!

The other reason today is so great is because I was able to squeeze in a little time to make some cards! And they were so quick and so inexpensive! Did you know that Stampin' Up! is having a Last Chance Sale on products from the current Annual Catalog? The new Annual Catalog goes live May 4, 2021, so it's out with the old to make room for the new! And while there are so many beautiful products coming in the new catalog-I literally can't wait until May 4th-there are some fabulous products that are retiring 😔. And one of the suites that is retiring is the World of Good Suite.

The World of Good Suite is so great for masculine cards! And some of the products in the suite have been discounted for the sale-and I mean discounted A LOT!! For example, the World Map Dies that coordinate with this suite are $31.00 retail and right now they are $7.75!!!! Can you believe it? And another hidden gem in the suite is the World of Good Memories and More Card Pack! The retail price is $11.00 and it is a great deal at that price. But right now they are selling for $4.40!!!! That is an incredible deal! And while the card pack is meant for scrapbooking, it is also perfect for making cards! And making them quickly and with very few supplies!

I sat down and made 4 cards in less than an hour! And there are still so many more cards that I could make from this pack!

This is what I came up with!

I mainly used supplies from the Memories and More Card Pack! I didn't even stamp on them except for the splatters on the Discover Card! And you could use a Water Painter or even a paint brush or old toothbrush to get the splatter look!  Now did I mention the Card Pack is only $4.40? And I know I could get many more cards out of the pack! And if you add stamps and/or dies, you could get even more variety! I added coordinating cardstock for the card bases, the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and some retired gold twine that I had left over (but just so you know, we will be getting some gold and silver trim in the new Annual Catalog!). And that is it!

Here is a look at my desk right after I finished the cards! You can see the bunches of supplies still left over underneath my cards!

And here are close-ups of each card!

These masculine cards are great for many occasions-especially graduations!! And it's that time of year to be thinking of the graduates in your life! The World of Good Memories and More Card Packs are only available while supplies last, so don't wait! Get a pack today! Below are the links to all of the World of Good Products. The sale prices aren't listed, but when you click on them you will see the sale price. You can also click here to see all of the products on the Last Chance Sale!

Hot Dog Birthday Card!

Good morning!

I have a cheerful card to share today that I made for my daughter's upcoming birthday! When my daughter was 8 months old, we decided to get a puppy. While I don't necessarily recommend getting a puppy when you have a baby, my daughter has grown up with our little mini dachshund and she loves him dearly.  When I saw the Hot Dog Stamp Set, I just knew I needed to have it!

So, without further ado, here is her birthday card!

Isn't this a fun card? And the stamp set is adorable! Here is a closer look at this set!

There are so many different directions you can take this stamp set to make cards/projects for a variety of occasions! If you are a dog lover, you need this set! This set is so versatile that I also made a valentine for my older daughter using this set and pieces from the January Paper Pumpkin Kit!

Paper Pumpkin makes it easy to make cards quickly! Most of the work is already done for you! I used Stampin' Blends to color in the images in the first card, and the watercolor pencils to color in the puppers on the second card.

I hope you enjoyed these cards! If you would like to see more projects featuring the Hot Dog Stamp Set, check out @stampinthroughthecatalog on instagram. They are featuring this stamp set in their stories today!

March Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

Hello Stampin' Friends!

I am posting this is little late, since the April Paper Pumpkin will be here soon, but I wanted to share my March Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects with you!

The March kit was so fun! It was nature themed and not only did it contain the supplies for 8 cards, it came with 4 free stencils and a Stampin' Sponge! How cool is that?

I usually do a zoom class for all of my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers to show them alternate uses for the kit contents. I add a few extra supplies to make the projects, but the majority of the card supplies are from the Paper Pumpkin kit. Our class was just last week and we made 3 projects together via zoom, and I made a tag with some of the extra pieces from the kit.

Here is a photo of the projects!

The three projects we made are from left to right: a travel journal/photo album, a card and a back pack gift card holder. The tag was an extra little project that I threw together with the left over pieces. Here are some close-ups!

The travel journal was really fun to make! We used padding compound to turn pieces of cardstock into a notebook! And the card gave us some great practice with the stencils and sponges (I cut my sponge into 6 wedges so that I could use it for several different colors). The back pack is perfect for graduations! You can put money or a gift card inside. And the little tag is pretty cute too!

If you would like to take part in my Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects Virtual classes, all you need to do is subscribe through me! Here is the link And that is it! Since this is a Virtual class, you don't even need to live by me to participate! After you subscribe, I will send you all of the details for the class!
