Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!! I am so excited for 2020! I think a lot of great things will happen this year and decade!

To celebrate, here is my first card of the new year!
I saw the Lily Pad Dies that are part of the upcoming Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration offerings, and I thought that the dies could also be used for succulents! I paired one of the lilypad dies with the cup die from the Cup of Cheer dies to make this card. It came together so quickly and I love the modern feel of this card.

The Cup of Cheer dies and the coordinating stamp set, Cup of Christmas, are only available through tomorrow!

And get excited, because Sale-a-Bration starts January 3rd!!

Monday Montage Week #154

Hello and welcome to our blog hop! I can't believe there are only 9 days left until Christmas!! Even though it is a busy time of year, I still try to sneak in some paper crafting! Here is one more Christmas card that I had so much fun making!!

I love the images in the Cup of Christmas Stamp set! And did you know that the cups are reversible?!! You can ink up either side of the die so you can stamp cups with handles on the right or left side of the cup!! And the Cup of Cheer coordinating dies allow you to cut out both right and left handled images! It's amazing!! And there are some great sentiments and accents that are included in this set!

Here is a close up!

I wanted to add some fun little touches to my "cups of hot cocoa". Of course the darling candy canes included in the set were a must, but I wanted some other elements as well. So I cut two pieces of Early Espresso Cardstock with the two tag dies included in the Cup of Cheer Dies. I layered them and and cut off the tops of the tags and turned them upside down to make a chocolate bar for one of the cups. I really wanted whipped cream for the other cup. So I looked through some of my dies from the Holiday Catalog and found the perfect solution! The Trio of Tags Dies has a die that looks like whipped cream! I just used the top portion of the die, and voila!!! The perfect whipped cream for my hot cocoa!

Monday Montage Week #153

Happy Monday Montage to all of you! I am excited that you are joining us today! We are in the middle of winter now it seems (until next week when it is supposed to be 60 degrees, lol). We had a very white Thanksgiving and it was snowing like crazy the day after when we went to pick out a Christmas tree! We picked our tree really fast this year 😁! It seems fitting that I am sharing a quick and easy Christmas card featuring this super cute snowman!

I used the Let It Snow Suite to make this fun card! And it really was so easy! I used the Snowman Builder Punch to punch the snowman right out of the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper! I love that Stampin' Up is making there DSP to match so many punches and dies now! And the cute little hat and scarf are from the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit-so great, right?!!

Monday Montage Week #151

It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We're so excited you're hopping with us today! I hope you all had a happy Halloween! What was the weather like where you are last week? It actually snowed here!! We woke up to snow last Sunday morning! I'm really not ready for winter, but the snow inspired me to get out a new stamp set and create a wintry scene!

Snow Front is the perfect set to use!! I love the variety of images that come in this set! And I love that Snow Front coordinates perfectly with Waterfront, one of my favorite sets in the Annual Catalog. With these two sets the possibilities are endless for scene building!

Monday Montage Week #149

Happy Monday Montage Blog Hop! Thank you for joining us today! Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the cooler weather, sweaters and all things pumpkin. And I love creating fall and Halloween projects! I had so much fun using the Monster Bash Suite to create these matching projects!

I love the product coordination in the suite that makes creating so easy! I made the wreath first, then decided to make a matching banner and then a card for gifting! And if you decide to keep the projects, the card can be put in a frame for another perfectly coordinated piece of decor!
Here are some closeups!

Monday Montage Week #148

Hello! We're so glad you are joining us today for our Monday Montage Blog Hop!
It's that time of year when the temperatures are cooler and the leaves are changing! I love fall!! And everything that goes with it! And I love making Halloween projects!! So without further ado, here are my first projects of Halloween!

I used the Monster Bash Suite on these projects! When I saw the suite in the Holiday Catalog, I knew right away that I would order the whole suite-I couldn't resist the all the darling products that coordinate so perfectly!

I wanted the coffin to be flat for the card, so I traced the shape from the Coffin Treat Boxes twice onto Basic Black Cardstock, and once onto Real Red Cardstock (which I cut down a bit so it would look like the lining for the coffin.

I adhered the top of the coffin to the base of the coffin on one edge with Tear & Tape Adhesive so that the coffin could open! So, of course a tiny bat needed to spring out when the coffin was opened!!

And here is a Coffin Treat Box all decorated and ready for a spooky treat!!
