A Dandelion Wishes Valentine!

For Valentine's Day I thought I would show a little love to one of the darling sets in the Annual Catalog! Dandelion Wishes is definitely a favorite of mine because I have many memories of me and my own children making wishes on dandelions (and because it's adorable)!

This is the perfect stamp set for Valentine's Day, Anniversary, Get Well or even birthdays! After stamping the dandelion images with Smoky Slate Ink on Pool Party Cardstock, I quickly sprinkled it with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder and embossed it with the Heat Tool. I used White Craft Ink and a Sponge Dauber to highlight the dandelions. Then I sponged around the white ink with Pool Party Ink- lightly at one end, and gradually getting darker towards the other end. I added a tiny little heart from the Stitched Be Mine Dies to the center of one of the dandelions to make this card a Valentine's Day Card, but you could leave that off for other occasions! I colored over the heart with Wink of Stella to give it some shine, and then flicked more Wink of Stella over the whole card, just for good measure!

Monday Montage Week #157

It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop! And happy February to you all! We are so happy you are here! We've got some great projects to share with you today! Have you seen the Parisian Blossoms Suite yet? It is so gorgeous! The card I am sharing features products from this suite and it's perfect for Valentine's Day or a special anniversary!

There is a lot of texture on this card! I used the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder on the Cherry Cobbler Layer, and the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder on the Crumb Cake Layer. The Blossoms image is stamped in Soft Suede Ink, then embossed with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder to make it pop! You can find all of the supplies at the bottom of this post.

Welcoming February with the Ride with Me Bundle!

Happy February everyone! Isn't February the best month? I love Valentine's Day! And what I love most is making projects to show my love for the important people in my life! So, to kick off the month of love, I have some darling little truck treat holders to share with you today!

Aren't these little guys adorable? And they are so fun to make!! The Truck Ride Dies make this project so simple-all of the cutting and scoring are done for you! And all of the great details in the Ride with Me Stamp Set make these little trucks amazing! The bundle includes images and sentiments for birthdays, harvest, and Christmas making this set so versatile! But I wanted to make this a Valentine treat holder, so I cut hearts out from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. I cut the bottom points off of each heart so they would sit flat in the truch and adhered them to each side. The sentiment is from the January Paper Pumpkin Kit tied on with the Grapefruit Grove Colored Twine in the Nature's Twine pack.
